In 2006, CBMC International began a partnership with Possibilities Africa (PA) in effort to promote entrepreneurship and economic growth in the developing country of Kenya. PA is a faith-based organization based out of Nairobi that is dedicated to providing solutions to the social, economic, physical, and spiritual needs in that region.
PA introduced Kenya to a concept that has positively impacted the U.S. economy. The organization established a Business Incubator to support budding entrepreneurs by sharing resources and facilities in the most critical stage of the start-up's launch.
The ultimate goal of the Business Incubator is to provide a catalyst for aspiring entrepreneurs in Kenya - and by doing they hope to create employment, spur economic development, and foster a culture of ownership. As the model experiences success, PA intends to replicate the initiative in other Sub-Saharan African countries.
CBMC International is partnering with PA to organize teams of experienced entrepreneurs and business professionals who have a desire to inspire a young generation of Africans. With the help of CBMC International, PA's Business Incubator has an opportunity to make a meaningful impact in Kenya and other developing countries.
Participating CBMC International partners will become involved in offering advice, accountability, and spiritual encouragement to these Kenyan entrepreneurs; and they will be given opportunities to participate face to face through team visits to Kenya.
