Leadership

A record number of participants, 135 from 26 different nations came together this year's Europartners Leadership Retreat at the Kibbutz Hotel Ramat Rachel in Jerusalem to celebrate the changes of presidency. The conference opened on Feb 8 and closed on Feb xx.

Throughout the conference, attendees enjoyed hearing from numerous speakers: Koos Mink, Chairman of Europartners gave the opening message; Johannes Gerloff, journalist and theologian living in Jerusalem and a regular speaker at our Europartners events in Israel, presented a picture of current events in the Middle East; John Beckett spoke on succeeding in business without selling your soul; and Benjamin Philip of "Hineni" and Rabbi Chaim Eisen spoke about the importance today of connecting Jews and Christians in the light of what we have in common (the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob) and not the differences. Attendees also took part in a discussion moderated by Andrew Tucker, Executive Director of "Christians in Israel" (C4I) in Holland (www.C4Israel.org), on the topic Modern Israel - it's relevance for Christians and Jews today.

The last evening of the conference was a sweet celebration of thanksgiving and farewell, combined with blessings for new beginnings.

Dominique Faessler in the name of the Global Leadership Team (GLT) thanked Bob Milligan and fare-welled him with a gift. Then Jim Firnstahl, new President of CBMC International, introduced himself, his wife Emily and the GLT members.

Koos Mink, in turn, fare-welled Dominique and Françoise Faessler after 10 years Presidency, as well as Johann Kaiser, who also has served faithfully for 10 years.

Finally, Timo Plutschinski, incoming president of Europartners, with his wife Gardis and one year old daughter Aurelia, were introduced. Timo presented the new Europartners’ office and center at the Schaalsee (near Hamburg) and a new logo for Europartners: a cross in the midst of the European marketplace. Timo then presented a message centered on living Jesus in the marketplace and being light and salt that can transform society in Europe.

In closing, Dominique Faessler and Johann Kaiser leave this word of thanksgiving and blessing:

Thank you in advance for supporting Timo and Gardis Plutschinski and Siena Grube (new office Assistant and Ministry Coordinator). Johann and I want to thank you again for your support, friendship, love, and for walking with us, ministering Jesus Christ in the marketplace for the past 10 years (2002-2012). Please keep in touch. May the Lord Jesus richly bless you in His grace and love.
Dominique Faessler and Johann Kaiser

We thank God for His hand of blessing, protection, and provision over the entire conference and we pray, with you, for His continued guidance and grace in this new era of Europartners Leadership.

Please use the Comment section below to leave a note of thanks to Bob Milligan, Dominique Faessler, and Johann Kaiser; or a note of welcome and blessing for Timo and Gardis Plutschinski.

Am currently serving as Director of Perpetual Blessing Ministries in Arroyo Grande, CA. Our goal is to form one or more businesses in Israel that will specialize in helping the Messianic Jews who are often disadvantaged in employment by their decision to follow Christ and to include among them others from the general population that will be impacted by the values apparent in staff and management. How can we dovetail with your efforts? Is there anyone in your organization who would be willing to help us in this regard?

The credit loans seem to be important for people, which want to ground their organization. As a fact, that is not very hard to get a short term loan.
