CBMC International Announces New President

The Board of Directors is very pleased to announce God's calling of Jim Firnstahl to serve as our new CBMC International President.
The entire search and selection process for our new president was covered with the earnest and faithful prayers of so many CBMC Brothers and Sisters all around the world. If you were a prayer partner with us, thank you.
Jim has many attributes that will make him a very strong leader for God's marketplace ministry. The following are just some of them:
Jim is a mature Christian leader with over 30 years as a successful businessman with extensive experience in banking and manufacturing - both in the US and international markets, and retail businesses, currently serving as Chief Financial Officer of Grant Road Lumber Company in Tucson, Arizona.
He has a proven track record of success - both as a servant leader and a team builder.
Jim clearly understands and demonstrates business as a mission.
He has demonstrated that he is a person of vision and a strategic thinker.
Jim has hands-on experience in reaching out to the younger generation on the college campus through Veritas Forum ministries as an adult leader and organizer.
He and his wife, Emily, have worked together in the successful Stonecroft Ministries, with Emily serving as a leader at the regional and national levels, and Jim has served as both a business and ministry consultant to Stonecroft Ministries.
Jim and Emily have enjoyed 30 years of marriage partnership, and are blessed with a beautiful adult daughter, Amelia.
Jim has been a resource for CBMC outreach events as a keynote speaker.
He has a keen determination to focus on building relationships with CBMC National Leaders, the Global Leadership Team, and the CBMC Board. Both Jim and Emily have extensive overseas travel experience.
Jim is a thoughtful, resourceful, creative, self-starter with innovative ideas incorporating the use of technology, and he has the leadership skills to implement strategic programs.
His education includes BA, International Relations, University of Minnesota, Minneapolis; MBA, Finance, Thunderbird School of International Management (Thunderbird), Phoenix; Master of Arts in Christian Thought, Bethel Seminary, St. Paul, Minnesota.
He has served as a Bible Teacher, Music Minister and Praise Worship Leader, Elder, and joined short-term missions work in the Czech Republic.
We believe that Jim is uniquely gifted to help meet the challenges ahead as we co-labor together in unity to address the global disillusionment caused by following the ways of the world, keenly realized during the current financial tsunami. The economic challenges and the ministry opportunities that we face today are much like those that our founding brothers of CBMC faced when God raised up His marketplace ministry in Chicago more than 80 years ago.
Again, we believe that God has really blessed CBMC by calling Jim Firnstahl to the important leadership position as the new president of CBMC International. We thank Him for answering our prayers. Please join in rejoicing and giving thanks, and welcoming Jim and Emily as part of our CBMC Family.
Jim plans to join CBMC International as our President-Elect on Monday, October 10th. An installation service in being planned for Jim and Emily at the next CBMC International Board meeting in Bogota, Columbia on October 21st.
Jim and Emily look forward to enjoying rich fellowship with each of you in the weeks and months ahead.

What a wonderful testimony that the Lord is a faithful Provider! Jim and Emily shall be blessed. "Father, bless and protect this family so they may serve Your kingdom in the marketplace with Your love and grace overflowing, In Jesus Name. Amen."
Praying earnestly for Jim and Emily as they step into this new area of ministry, and praying that the ministry will flourish under Jim's leadership.
I am rejoicing that this couple has been selected to serve in this area of the Ministry. I have been a guest in Jim & Emily's home, and have found them to have servant hearts. May God use them to be a Blessing.

Jim and Emily, welcome to the ministry! The Lord has put some great men and women in the CBMC ministry around the globe. May God guide you into expanding the ministry and giving support and encouragment to those leaders. It was a blessing for me to meet some of the leaders in Singapore and Jakarta. May God lead you.
Dear Jim Firnstahl, I congratulate you as the new President of CBMCINT and ask God to bless you in the direction of this ministry and the work we will develop in several nations challenging the Christian businessmen and professionals to work with the purpose of sharing the Gospel of Jesus Christ serving the business communities and professionals in their respective countries. However, I challenge you to prioritize this work differently in Brazil compared to other Latin American countries, given that more than 8 (eight) years we have had no contact CBMCINT. I have prayed God in this very sense, so we can have support from CBMCINT here in Brazil. We can not wait any longer. Before this, I hope to welcome you in Brazil soon. God bless you and your family. reading about Jim is such a wonderful. Congratulation brother! what you did n have been doing are really encouragement for me as i n my family serve the Lord by doing children ministry n city church planting here in Myanmar. we will pray for you n we also need your prayer.
